27. A Photo Tour of the AA Maximov Hospital, Pirogov National Surgical Center - Moscow, Russia


Краси́во жить не запрети́шь.

Above shows the wing my room is in, toward the far right and on 3rd floor (rm 329)
And below shows placement. My big windows look out onto the trees, walking paths shown below



Landscaped garden perimeter is just coming out of winter but will be exquisite by summertime. From my window I will watch these trees leaf out. They are already sprouting buds.

The garden walks are studded with bronze busts of historical figures related to the hospital.



Walking into the center courtyard of the complex, it is as beautiful as an old European Palace




Stucco bas relief sculpture of St. George slaying the Dragon seems fitting, as I am here slaying my own immune system dragon, too. 

Below is another panorama showing the newer wing to the far left. The hospital is a large complex.
